Like the Jacobean boy companies Lady Elizabeth’s Men did not confine their repertory to comedy and tragicomedy. The earliest known play performed by the troupe was a tragedy (Proud Maid’s Tragedy) and the lost play that they performed at court on 1 March 1613, Raymond, Duke of Lyons, was probably a history or tragedy. Only the titles survive of the plays Robert Daborne wrote for Henslowe between late 1613 and 1614, some of which might have been resold to the troupe, but their titles point to a similar mix of genres being potentially available to them.
